(Tea Party 247) – All week long Democrats have been prepping Washington, D.C. for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, an event to be held at the U.S. Capitol just several weeks after riots took place in that very building. And the radical left is clearly making a statement, one that should strike terror into the hearts of liberty loving Americans all over the country.

According to the folks at Gateway Pundit, the left is telling Americans that they are afraid of them and will take violent, forceful actions to obliterate dissent. The message seems clear when you see that 25,000 National Guard troops are being used for additional security at the event. Not to mention 2,000 of those individuals have now been deputized by the U.S. Marshal Service.

The entire city has been turned into a military zone, similar to something you’d see in Iraq or Syria. Definitely a sight you’d think you’d ever come across here in the United States. Then again, it’s this sort of thing that Democrats have been wanting to do for ages. How long have Democrats wanted to paint all conservatives up as radicals who need put down?

A long, long time.

What’s really scary is that U.S. troops have been authorized to use lethal force while manning checkpoints to come in and out of Washington. Green Zone and Red Zone perimeters have been established in the city.

I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve had to clear a police/national guard checkpoint to get to my office in DC. Security measures are now extensive and span far back from the Capitol.

We are calling on hotels in the DC region to close ahead of inauguration, unless they are hosting security personnel. Any hotel that stays open must permit workers to stay home and/or leave the moment they feel unsafe. Our full statement

CCTV cameras are now mounted on poles so people can be spied on by those in power.

And according to former Deputy of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has called for crew-served automatic weapons on light armored vehicles to be included in the arsenal for the National Guard troop. You know, so they can mow down folks who might get it in their heads to once again storm the Capitol on Inauguration Day.

Pelosi’s request was rejected, being told that such weapons have no role to play in securing a civilian event.

What a hypocrite!

Speaker Pelosi is totally anti-gun. Well, she’s against people like you and I having guns per the Second Amendment, but is alright with folks in the military having weapons so long as it’s her hide that’s being protected. We don’t have the right to protect ourselves according to the Speaker. That right is reserved only for the elite.

Sorry, but our founders realized how important it was for the populace to be armed in order to fight against tyranny and to protect life and property from criminals. That’s why the Second Amendment exists, whether she likes it or not.
