The fight for life is taking on a new direction now that the Supreme Court is looking to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Democrats are furiously looking for ways to keep the practice going and affordable across the country. For some liberals, it seems like the world’s end is taking place. But for the first time in decades, unborn children will have a fighting chance at survival now that their small voices are being heard from the womb.
The sickening part about the fight is the businesses that want to turn to politics to make a statement. During the 2020 presidential election, social media giants robbed people of the right to free speech so the liberal agenda could be advanced without conservative interference. And now, the issue has turned to the abortion debate.
Amazon has decided that the company will change its sick leave policies based on the current abortion climate. The company’s employees received a letter stating COVID-19 illnesses would no longer qualify for paid sick leave. They could take time off from work, but they could not use their sick time to quarantine themselves. And those that did not want to use their vacation time could accept five unpaid days of time off.
In the past, Amazon employees could take time off while they waited for test results. But that all has changed because of the current abortion fight. Part of the memo that the employees received mentioned that the pandemic is no longer a reason for paid time off, but if that person wants to murder their baby, paid time off will be granted.
The Democrats that control the largest corporations are paying their people to murder unborn children. An employee living in a state that bans abortions will have their trip paid for to go to a place where murder is legal. And if paid time off was not enough, the person can also get $4,000 in cash to pay for all the traveling that they might need to do.
The $4,000 reimbursement expense is for a person to travel less than 100 miles from home. The money is also supposed to cover many of the medical procedures that lead up to the child’s death. And if the person is facing a life-threatening issue, they will get up to $10,000.
Reuters reported that “The decision makes the online retailer the latest company after Citigroup Inc (C.N), Yelp Inc (YELP.N) and others to respond to Republican-backed state laws curbing abortion access, helping employees bypass them. It shows how companies are eager to retain and attract talent in locations that remain important to their operations despite legal changes impacting employees’ health.”
Every one of these companies is deciding to assist in killing unborn children. The people who own them and the boards make choices that show they favor liberalism.
Reuters also stated that “The U.S. Supreme Court is due to rule by the end of June in a case that gives its conservative majority a chance to roll back abortion rights or even overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized the procedure nationwide. About two dozen states including Oklahoma and Alabama have laws poised to limit abortion access should the Roe ruling be overturned.”
The matter of abortion is far from over. To make abortion illegal for good, all three branches of government will have to work together to make it part of the Constitution. Lawmakers will have to choose to defy the minority to save the lives of the unborn children being hunted down by Democrats.
Amazon has dumped the fake pandemic and embraced a murderous concept. What they view as a medical benefit is nothing more than assisted murder. The only way that the unborn will ever have the right to live will be when the Republicans stop the practice by making it illegal in every state and territory.
