Afghanistan’s Bagram Airfield was unceremoniously abandoned by Joe Biden back in July, after 20 years. The base’s Afghan commander was not even notified. They cut the electricity off and slipped out into the night, without so much as a goodbye. The secret departure was discovered by the commander over two hours later.
It won’t surprise any readers to learn that there was very little resistance offered, as the Taliban was able to assume control of the airfield fairly easily. By August 15th, they had control of Bagram and were able to have thousands of terrorists released from their shackles. Americans and Afghans alike were more than happy to leave the Taliban plentiful amounts of military equipment to use.
Sports drinks, rations, and even uniforms were provided to the terrorist group. More reports have been leaking out about the ISIS suicide bomber who is responsible for the deaths of 13 United States servicemen and women. 169 Afghans also died in the attack, which was only able to take place because the terrorist who was responsible had been released from Bagram Base prison back in July.
Abdul Rehman was incarcerated at this location for the past four years until he was finally released. “Story claims Kabul airport bomber was an Afghan IS-K member who planned an attack in New Delhi. CIA detected a threat in 2017, notified RAW. RAW nabbed him, gave him to US which sent him to Bagram. Taliban released him and he kills 169 Afghans/13 US soldiers,” Jeff M. Smith tweets.
Firstpost has more about this developing story:
“The Islamic State suicide bomber who killed at least 169 Afghan civilians and 13 United States soldiers outside Kabul airport last month was incarcerated in Afghanistan’s notorious Bagram prison for the past four years, thanks to Indian efforts, Firstpost has learned through credible intelligence sources.
Senior Indian intelligence sources familiar with the case have told Firstpost that he was handed over to the United States Central Intelligence Agency by the Research and Analysis Wing in September 2017. However, the jihadist walked free on 15 August along with thousands of other dangerous terrorists held in the high-security prison, taking advantage of the chaos that ensued in the aftermath of the United State’s hurried exit and the Taliban’s swift takeover of the entire country.
Identified as Abdul Rehman, the jihadist was a former student of an engineering college in India and hailed from Afghanistan’s Logar province. He was the son of an Afghan merchant who frequently visited India for business.
His arrest had led to the termination of a plot by the Islamic State of Khurasan Province (IS-K) — the Islamic State’s regional wing in Afghanistan — to stage suicide bombings in New Delhi and other cities across the region, probably on the behest of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate (ISI).”
Twitter has also been chock full of information about these ongoing developments. “Abdur Rehman al Logri, an ISIS fighter, who carried out the devastating Kabul bombing which resulted in the death of more than 250 people, was arrested in New Delhi five years ago and deported back to Afghanistan before the attack. The perfidious R&AW-ISIS nexus is a reality,” Tequieremos writes.
This is yet another example of Joe Biden’s unwillingness to do the right thing. An Afghanistan withdrawal would have been a fine plan. However, he did not care to coordinate this plan with anyone else. Biden made an executive decision that has already led to hundreds of avoidable deaths, with hardly any follow-up commentary from the mainstream media that lives to cover his butt.
They should be taking him to task but that is too much to ask these days. Biden’s bad decision-making has left a trail of blood that leads directly to the current administration. The Afghan people deserved so much better than this, as our cowardly “leader” decided to skip town in the middle of the night. It’s beyond shameful, to say the least.
Biden Personally Responsible For Suicide Bombing
The proof is right here….
Biden’s the one who set the table for the suicide bombing that took place in Afghanistan. This is the sort of thing that should get someone impeached.
Trump makes one perfect phone call and gets in trouble, while Biden can do whatever he likes. It’s sad to see and we are tired of it.
Afghanistan is a disaster….thanks to dumb decisions like this one….
