New York state has been under attack by the liberal left for several years. The worst they have had to face was several years of tyranny under the criminal actions of Andrew Cuomo. The man lied, cheated, and stole his way into office, and once there, he manipulated people and sexually abused women by the dozen. He is guilty of the murder of the elderly and even attempting to cover it all up. The accusations and trials are just the start of his troubles.
The left once praised Cuomo as a hero of the pandemic. He was given an award for the way he managed the crisis and even given a multi-million-dollar book deal to author his successes for everyone to enjoy. The only problem was that everything he had done was fake and made to look like he knew what he was doing.
Cuomo will always be known as the fraud of New York. His book “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic” was nothing other than a get-rich-quick play. Once it was discovered that he attacked women and doctored the number of deaths during the pandemic, it did not take long for him to lose it all.
Cuomo will also pay another price of $5.1 million. He has been ordered to pay back the money from his fake book deal. The state’s ethics department found the man not worthy of the money. They canceled his book deal because it was also found that he was using state employees to research and write his book. That action is unethical and illegal in the state of New York, by the way.
Cuomo had stated that he did not use any of the staff to help write his book. But when the truth came out, it was discovered that he had used them for a long time. And it was the state that paid their payroll.
The New York Post had found and reported that the ethics committee “rescinded its approval after concluding that Cuomo violated pledges not to use state resources or government staffers to prepare the book.” The man had lied his way into a book deal. And they also reported that he “lacked the legal authority to engage in outside activity and receive compensation in regard to the book. Gov. Cuomo is not legally entitled to retain compensation…for any form of outside activity related to the book.” He cannot even have another publisher pick up the deal and publish it.
Cuomo has been given 30 days to pay the $5.1 million back to the attorney general of New York. The probe into the man’s book deal started back in October. But it was recently found he lied about the book’s development and tried to hide the truth.
The sexual predator resigned from his office in August due to allegations of sexual misconduct. He tried to fight each accusation by trying to discredit the source. And when that did not work out for him, he went after the powers that could do something about it. He is a typical Democrat willing to attack people to make his troubles disappear.
The drama of his crimes interfered with the way the state was being run. But it took a miracle for the man to realize he had been caught. There was no amount of talk or attacks that would keep the man from being investigated. Almost a dozen women came forward and reported that he had messed around with their bodies without consent.
The ignorant old man tried to deny any wrongdoing and even tried to say that he did not understand where the line was at that he crossed. He had crossed that line in his mind when he decided to reach out and start meddling with other bodies.
Andrew Cuomo is a fraud that used people for personal gain while in office. He violated a deal he made with the state to write a book, and now he wants to bury the entire thing so he can avoid prison time.
