Biden Basically Says that Unemployed Americans Have No Dignity

Unemployment has been significant since the beginning of the pandemic. Unfortunately, even as states open back up, unemployment remains high. Why? The Biden administration’s economic stimulus plans allow people on unemployment to receive hundreds of added dollars a week.

What’s the rush to gain employment when people can remain unemployed and earn more?

President Biden is ignorant of the problem. He’s ignorant to the idea that people would actually rather work than stay unemployed – and this is why there’s a problem within the entire administration.

The entire reason that there’s a Welfare system is that people are too lazy to work. Many people feel that the government should provide for them – and when there is always a government program to provide a cash flow, they lack the motivation to gain employment.

President Biden addressed the argument that Republicans have about his expanded unemployment benefits. Biden believes that the Republicans claim to “underestimate the American people.” Perhaps he overestimates them.

After a report showed that there were only 266,000 jobs added in comparison to the one million that economists forecasted, Biden’s still not concerned. He says, “I know there’s been a lot of discussion since Friday’s report that people are being paid to stay home rather than go to work” and goes on to say that he and his administration don’t see evidence of that.

Hmmm, so he must not be getting out enough to see the “Help Wanted” signs on so many restaurants and retail stores around the country. He must also not see the sheer number of people still collecting unemployment.

With so many businesses hiring, there should be no reason for so many to still collect unemployment. Yet, here we are. It’s why there are many GOP-led states that have officially decided to cancel the extra amounts of unemployment. They believe that it’s the only way to get people back to work and end the economic struggles.

Biden has proven that he doesn’t have a firm grasp on reality. He believes that if Americans are given good and fair opportunities, that they will find a job.

Yet, Biden shares a story that shows where he’s doing his overestimating: “As my dad used to say, ‘A job is about a lot more than a paycheck. It’s about your dignity, your place in the community, being able to look your kid in the eye and say, ‘everything is going to be okay.’”

The problem is that many Americans do focus on a paycheck. They live paycheck to paycheck, and they’re not going to tell their kids that everything is going to be okay because they know that it won’t be. Many Americans look at the best way to get the most amount of money – and until the liberals start to take away the unemployment benefits, staying unemployed is the better option.

Through Biden’s overestimation of Americans, he has basically identified that unemployed Americans have no dignity because they do focus solely on a paycheck.

Meanwhile, Biden wants to say that those who pass on suitable jobs won’t keep getting unemployment benefits. Funny, though. He doesn’t seem to realize that if people choose not to apply for jobs, they can’t be offered jobs – and that is where we are at right now.

Of course, the White House was quick to note that the Secretary of Labor will issue letters to those on unemployment that they cannot continue to receive benefits if they turn down a suitable job “due to a general, non-specific concern about COVID-19.”

The entire administration doesn’t see the flaws in the unemployment system. It’s why there are so many people who continue to sit on unemployment while businesses are eager to start hiring. It’s not about dignity. It’s not about being able to look kids in the eyes. Instead, it’s about where they can make the most money – and until Biden and the rest of his office sees that they’ll continue to hurt the economy.
