Immediately following President Trump’s historic and well-delivered “tell it like it is” speech at Mt. Rushmore, presidential hopeful Joe Biden must have broken out with goosebumps. Here was his chance to bury Trump once and for all.
Biden quickly started the cameras rolling as he flashed his dentures via his signature wide grin that surely took him years to perfect. And as is his habit, he began incoherently rambling his highly dementia-laden rhetoric.
As is also his habit, he began by criticizing our President for purposely and single-handily attempting to divide a nation that was long divided before Trump even took office. Ironically, it was Biden’s former boss, Barak Obama, who lent a strong hand in accomplishing the division Trump was being blamed for.
As Biden railed about his ability to end systematic racism, his words were shadowed by the endless efforts and accomplishments of Trump who has already made huge strides in fairness and equality within America’s black communities. Considering smiling Joe’s previous record and statements on the subject, it became crystal clear how this escapee from a looney-bin will say whatever voters want to hear, whether it has merit, or not.
Let’s time-travel. In 1977, Joe Biden said some things that if said during these times, would have him seeking new employment outside of the political realm. But unfortunately, liberals have a habit of not remembering things they choose not to remember. It’s done by choice.
When busing students for reasons of promoting integration was brought to the surface, Biden wasn’t having it. He didn’t want to see privileged white children being forced to lower their educational standards just to appease a bunch of black kids who he felt would be better off staying in their own part of towns.
Here is what he said. “Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point. We have got to make some move on this.”
A Jungle? As in Little Black Sambo? Biden felt busing was going to cause an all-out race war. He felt making progress in this area was impossible and he was quite content with things the way they were. Imagine how life in America would still be today had everyone shared his ludicrous and 100% blatant racist point of view.
He then went on to say, “You take people who aren’t racist, people who are good citizens, who believe in equal education and opportunity, and you stunt their children’s intellectual growth by busing them to an inferior school, and you’re going to fill them with hatred.”
This was an open admission of black schools being inferior, but his only concern was in making white kids not have to suffer. There was never any mention of perhaps upgrading the schools in question. He didn’t give one single iota about this. Save the white children…
He cited an example by creating a hypothetical situation concerning a black student from Wilmington. “You send him to Alexis Institute or DuPont, bus him through Centerville every day, then send him back to the ghetto. How can he be encouraged to love his white brothers?”
Uh…Excuse us Mr. Biden, but what about his white brothers learning to love and accept him? Busing eventually did wonders in teaching children of all colors to accept one another for who they were, but no thanks to Joe Biden.
Biden has not changed his mode of thinking. Many years later when Barack Obama was president and running for re-election, he had this to say about Mitt Romney as he spoke to a largely black audience
“Mitt Romney is going to put you back in chains should he win the election.” Still, this wasn’t the worst thing he ever said. Biden showed his true self with a statement that slammed the entire black population of this country.
“Obama is the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” Whoa! Has Trump ever said anything even closely resembling this atrociously racist remark? The answer is a resounding no. Nor would he. Ever.
There comes a time when we all must look re-examine the past prior to buying into what is being falsely portrayed now. Biden adamantly claims to have not one racist bone in his body, but his past actions disagree with his current self-portrayal.
We, as honorable and upright citizens of this land we cherish, cannot allow Biden to claim a victory that will turn back the hands of time. Trump 2020. America must have it no other way.
