New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s hands are stained with the blood. Lots of it. Ongoing investigations are clearly indicating how this liberal-minded mess-of-a-man is single-handily responsible for the deaths of roughly 11,000 senior citizens whom he barricaded inside of nursing homes.
Wishing to hide infectious COVID-19 patients from the general public’s eye in order to deceive them into believing he had the situation well under control, these patients were forced into long care facilities against their will, and their better judgment.
CNN has done everything within its power to re-frame Cuomo’s disastrous mistake, but the truth is the truth, and sooner or later it always comes out in the wash. Surprised? We aren’t.
In contrast to CNN’s blatant cover-up attempt, fasten your seat belts as you read what the AP reported.
“New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were transported to hospitals and died there.”
“That statistic could add thousands to the state’s official care home death toll of just over 6,600. But so far the administration of Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has refused to divulge the number, leading to speculation the state is manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing better than other states and to make a tragic situation less dire.”
Naturally, and as one would expect, Cuomo said he sees no need for further investigation into the matter. He feels it would be a waste of time and resources.
CNN assigned the governor’s kid brother, Chris Cuomo, to hosting a series of interviews with his sibling which tended to glorify and paint a rosy picture of how the pandemic was being handled. They giggled like school children and poked fun at one another, as behind the scenes, people were dying by the thousands. Out of sight, out of mind.
During a June interview, the younger CNN correspondent even went as far as to offer this view of his big brother.
“Obviously, I think you’re the best politician in the country. I hope you feel good about what you did for your people because I know they appreciate it. … I’ve never seen anything like what you did, and that’s why I’m so happy to have had you on the show.”
“Of course, I’m not objective, but let’s call it straight,” Chris Cuomo boasted. “Yeah, he’s my brother. … But the results are there for all to see.” Well… from what we now know, no, they weren’t.
Even as the truth is coming to light concerning an estimated unreported 11,000 deaths, CNN continues to sidetrack their viewers by focusing on Republican governors such as Florida’s Ron DeSantis.
The phony news source searched high and low for someone, anyone, who was willing to slam DeSantis’s handling of the pandemic. They finally located an ex disgruntled employee from the Florida Department of Health.
Without evidence, and resembling more of a conspiracy theory, the ex-employee claimed DeSantis was trying to manipulate Florida’s infections and death rate in his efforts to not damage the Sunshine State’s all-important tourist trade. And CNN ran with it.
Andrew Cuomo is not the hero they are making him out to be, and we can only hope the ongoing investigations will reveal what we already know to be the real truth.
We can all certainly agree, transporting infected hospital patients to nursing homes full of elderly residents who comprise the largest risk factor, is not the work of a hero. It’s the work of an uncaring selfish imbecile with one objective in mind. To bolster his political career.
Will CNN ever come clean? Of course, they won’t. They’ll continue attacking Republican governors as they sweep the misguided steps of their Democrat boy wonder under the carpet.
Sooner or later though, their broom will run out of bristles. In the meantime, pay no attention to their love affair with perhaps the most devious and evil governor in America. Andrew Cuomo is going down, and if we’re lucky enough, CNN will go down with him. One can only hope.
