It’s no secret that anti-Semitic and anti-democracy congresswomen such as Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib doesn’t have any love for our ally in the Middle East, Israel. In fact, she has proved that the entire nation is seen as an abomination to her on numerous occasions.
And that makes what one newly-elected congresswoman just decided to do incredibly ingenious.
Meet freshman Florida Republican Representative Kat Cammack. Cammack, unlike Tlaib, has a love for Israel that all Americans should appreciate. After all, the nation is the only thriving democracy in the Middle East, and as such, it is a great asset in keeping peace throughout the region.
To show her appreciation for the nation and its bond with the US, Cammack has decided to prominently display the Israeli flag outside her new office’s door, right alongside the American flag. I know, it might not sound all that special or even creative.
But did I mention that her office is right next to Tlaib’s?
Yep, in the Longworth House Office Building, someone had the incredible foresight to place Cammack’s new office directly next to that of Tlaib’s.
According to ABC affiliate WCJB-TV in Gainesville, Florida, “(Tlaib) has some very strong opinions about Israel, and I have some very strong opinions about Israel, so I have made a pledge that I’m going to be planting the flag of Israel outside my door right next to the American flag.”
Cammack added, “I think it’ll be very helpful as she walks past it every day.”
Oh, I’m sure it will.
Tlaib has never been a fan of Israel, and her time in Congress hasn’t softened her toward the nation in the least. In fact, it seems to have only strengthened what appears like a resolve to destroy the entire country.
As you may know, Tlaib has played a massive part in pushing forward what is commonly referred to as the BDS movement. The BDS or Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement was created and introduced in July of 2019 by Tlaib’s fellow squad member Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
If ever passed, the resolution would successfully seek to boycott and undermine the economy of any nation that seems terroristic or harmful in nature. It has been compared to similar movements taken by The Allies before and during WWII, which boycotted and issued sanctions on Nazi Germany imports and exports.
And while no nation is listed explicitly in the resolution as a target, Omar and Tlaib (who co-sponsored the bill) have made it clear Israel would be at the top of their list, according to Fox News. In fact, the pair has created so much drama about Israel’s supposed dangers and their desire to destroy her that they have been effectively banned from the nation.
In August 2019, a congressional delegation trip was made to Israel, which included Tlaib and Omar. However, after receiving the pair’s itinerary for their time there, the nation’s government decided that it was in Israel’s best interest if neither were included.
Now, to be clear, this wasn’t just on some pre-held notion that the two are anti-Semitic, which they most certainly are. Instead, it was because their itinerary not only listed “Palestine” as their destination but that a very anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli group was their sponsor and host.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement, “As a free and vibrant democracy, Israel is open to critics and criticism, with one exception: Israeli law prohibits the entry into Israel of those who call for and work to impose boycotts on Israel, as do other democracies that prohibit the entry of people who seek to harm the country. Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are leading activists in promoting the legislation of boycotts against Israel in the American Congress. Only a few days ago, we received their itinerary for their visit in Israel, which revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy.”
Naturally, Tlaib was not thrilled about the ban.
And I gather that she is just as equally unhappy about having to walk past Cammack’s new flag every day. I just wish I was there to see her face the first time she sees it…
