The State of Texas is under constant attack by the failed policies of the Biden Administration. The president’s failure to secure the border has led to hundreds of thousands of people crossing into the country illegally. They flow right on in and into the heartland without ever resorting to an agency as to why they are coming to America. And the people of Texas are paying the price.
Joe Biden could care less as he has crippled ICE’s ability to remove the illegals. They cannot enter into large cities and get the information they need from law enforcement to track down the violent criminals and see that they are returned to their country of origin.
Governor Greg Abbott is fighting back and looking out for people suffering in his State from the president’s stupidity. Abbott has ordered that the Texas National Guard be detained and arrest immigrants trying to cross the border illegally. Any person trying to cross in from Mexico will be taken into custody.
Abbott sent the order to Major General Tracy R. Norris, the Adjutant General of the Texas National Guard. She is ordered to assist The Texas Department of Public Safety with apprehending and detaining any illegals.
Abbott’s stated that “Beginning on May 31, 2021, I have issued multiple proclamations certifying under Section 418.014 of the Texas Government Code that the surge of individuals unlawfully crossing the Texas-Mexico border poses an ongoing and imminent threat of disaster for certain counties and agencies in the State of Texas.”
It has gotten so bad in Texas that the National Guard has been called into active duty to protect American citizens. It is something the federal government should be doing. But Biden chooses to look the other way and let the people suffer from the invading forces.
Abbott calls the southern border a disaster. He knows that more troops and human resources are needed at the border until the wall can be finished.
It is illegal to enter the country by any means other than an immigration port. The Democrats support illegal immigration, which means they support breaking the law. That explains why they support the dismantlement of law enforcement agencies around the country. They want to help the criminals break the law.
The most significant words spoken by Abbott were, “By virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, I hereby order that the Texas National Guard assist DPS in enforcing Texas law by arresting lawbreakers at the border.” It is at that moment that all of Texas cheers for him and gives massive boos to Biden.
Joe Biden is an enemy of the United States. He released over 50,000 illegals into the heart of the country. Many of these people are sick with COVID-19 and have no intention of paying taxes or seeking to make the country a better place to live. Biden is more concerned with letting these people in with the hopes that they will someday become Democratic voters.
Before illegals can be released into the country for asylum reasons, they are supposed to have a day in court to set a date and time for them to return to determine their future in the country. But Biden is skipping that step because he wants to destroy the country.
And even with court dates, a tiny percentage will ever speak with an ICE agent. The illegals disappear into the night and are never seen again unless they are caught breaking the law.
Abbott, along with Doug Ducey from Arizona, sent a letter requesting help that stated, “Securing our border with Mexico is the federal government’s responsibility. But the Biden administration has proven unwilling or unable to do the job. This failure to enforce federal immigration laws causes banns that spill over into every State.”
The states of South Dakota and Florida all sent help to the other states. National Guard soldiers were sent to support local law enforcement. And all Biden could do was pack his illegals onto busses and take them to secret drop-off zones in the middle of the country.
