All the liberal tears in the world won’t change the fact that this judge broke the law.

Judge Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, along with trial court officer, Wesley MacGregor, are accused of conspiring to help an illegal alien escape arrest by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
According to the Daily Mail,

“Joseph was seen crying when she left federal court in Boston Thursday.”

Her attorney was quick to defend her, stating:
“This prosecution is absolutely political. Shelley Joseph is absolutely innocent.”

Here’s a more detailed account according to news reports:
“U.S. federal prosecutors on Thursday charged a Massachusetts judge and court officer with conspiracy and obstruction, saying they blocked an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer from arresting an illegal immigrant at a 2018 court proceeding,” said Reuters.
District Court Judge, Shelley Joseph, was charged along with Trial Court Officer Wesley MacGregor.
They focus on an April 2018 hearing in Newton District Court, outside Boston, where an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer intended to arrest an unidentified suspected illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic facing a drug charge,” the report said.
Joseph is reported to have “huddled” with the defendant’s attorney, and told the attorney that she was not going to allow ICE into the courtroom. She reportedly allowed the suspect to exit through the rear door of the courtroom, while the ICE agent waited in the front lobby.
The judge is guilty. She knew EXACTLY what she was doing, and her tears are those of a person who got caught committing a crime. She’s supposed to uphold the rule of law, not break it.
Hopefully this will be a lesson to those in power who support harboring illegal aliens.

Should Judge Shelley Joseph be allowed to continue to practice law?
