Kyle Rittenhouse’s Lawyer Makes a Huge Blunder That Could Cost Republicans the Senate

Everybody everywhere is more than familiar with the continuing saga of 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse over what some say was a patriotic display of true Americanism, while others have condemned the poor kid to hell.

Rittenhouse’s attorney, Lin Wood, has been fighting to get his client off the hook. Wood, like Rittenhouse and his parents, is an avid and vocal supporter of Donald J. Trump.

Mr. Wood, who firmly believes the Democrats stole the election, despite the mountains of legal claims and eye-witnesses, still doesn’t think enough is being done to address the issue of voter fraud. He opted to take an ill-thought-out radical stance, and now the lawyer is being roasted on the grill by his own constituents.

In Georgia, where Republicans are battling their butts off to keep control of the state, thereby hoping to protect a much needed Senate seat being voted on in January, Wood made the most idiotic suggestion of his career, and possibly of his lifetime.

While speaking on the same stage in Atlanta with fellow attorney Sidney Powell, Wood went completely against the Commander-in Chiefs plea for Georgia Republicans to get out and vote, by telling them not to. She told them to stay away from the polling stations.

Wood said that if Georgian GOP Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler don’t get off of their asses and do a better job of investigating voter fraud than what has been being done, they don’t deserve to have the conservative vote. It’s evident how Wood’s myopic vision cannot see the bigger more important picture here.

In Wood’s exact words, “They have not earned your vote. Don’t you give it to them. Why would you go back and vote in another rigged election? For god’s sake, fix it. You’ve got to fix it before we’ll do it again,” he screamed from the podium.

“Do not be fooled twice, this is Georgia,” he added. “We’re not going to go vote on Jan. 5 in another machine made by China. They’ve got to demand publicly, repeatedly, consistently (Republican Gov. Brian Kemp), call a special session of the Georgia legislature. “If Loeffler and Perdue do not do it, they have not earned your vote. Don’t you give it to them.”

Newt Gingrich was quick to tweet, “Lin Wood and Sidney Powell are totally destructive. Every Georgia conservative who cares about America MUST vote in the runoff. Their vote strategy will cripple America.”

Other prominent Republicans followed Gingrich on Twitter with remarks such as, “Trump says vote in the Georgia election. So vote.” And this short tweet in all caps, “OATMEAL FOR BRAINS”

Trump’s plea to keep the Senate out of Democratic hands read as such, “No, the 2020 Election was a total scam, we won by a lot (and will hopefully turn over the fraudulent result), but we must get out and help David and Kelly, two GREAT people. Otherwise, we are playing right into the hands of some very sick people. I will be in Georgia on Saturday!”

If both Loeffler and Perdue lose their races, when and if President-elect Joe Biden raises his right hand, Republicans will lose control of the Senate, and this would be in no uncertain terms, disastrous.

America will be once again rolling out the red carpet for unions. Our flag will need modifying to accommodate the new states of Puerto Rico and Washington D.C., and we can all wave goodbye to our Second Amendment rights.

Wood’s ridiculously foolish remarks run specifically against the grain of what is ultimately the best thing to do for our nation as a whole, and they definitely conflict with what our president has asked us to do. Who ‘ya gonna pay attention to?

We can only hope that Kyle Rittenhouse made the right choice in picking Wood to represent his case in court. Wood will need to up his game for Rittenhouse to even stand a chance.
