Shocking Poll Exposes What Americans Really Think About Biden

Questions about former Vice President Joe Biden’s mental health have been circling for some time now. But with his affinity for gaffes getting worse, even in the face of limited air and screen time, those questions are becoming more and more serious.

And it has led to a national poll in which the majority of Americans are in agreement; he has dementia.

According to a poll put out by Zogby on June 1 and 2, 55 percent of Americans think Joe Biden is in the “early stages of dementia.”

The results of the online poll came out on Wednesday, revealing the thoughts of 1,007 “likely voters” who responded.

Zogby reported, “Using internal and trusted interactive partner resources, thousands of adults were randomly invited to participate in this interactive survey. Each invitation is password coded and secure so that one respondent can only access the survey one time.”

Now, it is essential to note that of all the types of polls taken, those completed online have the most significant margin of error due to the typically lower quality. This particular poll comes in with a margin of error at 3.1 percent.

However, even with that, the results pretty much speak for themselves.

Not only does the majority of America as a whole think that Biden is suffering from an evident mental decline, but even divided into subgroups, a large portion of each agrees with this assumption.

Now, it isn’t surprising that those who tend to lean towards the right or Republican side of politics would disagree with this all that much. And the poll proves as much.

It read, “Overall, subgroups who normally approve of Trump’s job as president, were the most likely to believe Biden could be suffering from dementia.”

Neither would it be shocking that the majority of his own party would tend to be on Biden’s side, saying that he doesn’t have dementia. However, it might not be expected that quite so many of his party members would think there is a severe problem.

But that is precisely what the poll shows.

According to the poll, about a third of his entire and supposedly loyal party believes it is more likely that he is not in the best mental condition and suffering from early-onset dementia.

“Thus, majorities of Republicans (77% more likely/23% less likely) and Independents (56% more likely/44% less likely) thought Joe Biden had early-onset dementia; while nearly a third of Democrats (32% more likely/68% less likely) thought this was the case.”

Suffice it say, that even with a larger than average margin of error, these aren’t good numbers for the Biden campaign. And clearly, it’s not about party issues. If it were, why are such a high number of Democrats and Independents willing to say that there is something wrong with the candidate?

However, a couple of “important subgroups did not believe the vice president was exhibiting a declining mental capacity,” according to the poll. But even here, it can’t be considered much of a win or good news.

Both women and those over 65 were equally split on the idea, with 50 percent saying he did have the condition and 50 percent saying he did not.

The poll also noted that “voters aged 18-24 (60% more likely/40% less likely) and 18-29 (59% more likely/41% less likely) were more likely to believe Biden had dementia than” those who were older.

For a party that is supposed to attract a younger crowd, these results aren’t doing Biden any favors.

We have to also consider that this poll was just taken, meaning it took place after the assumed nominee was noted to essentially be in hiding in his basement for months on end. A reprieve from the public eye and his far too many blunders should have raised his ratings with the American people. After all, with less time in front of the camera, he can’t make that many dementia-driven mistakes, right?

Wrong.

And that is precisely why his campaign staff has sought to limit his speaking time even more in recent weeks. As the Washington Post explained, he usually long-winded politician hasn’t been given more than 15 minutes of speaking time since March. And even then, he has made historically significant gaffes.

No wonder the search for his potential vice president is looking for someone young, capable, and willing to take the reins immediately. However, with a national debate between Biden and Trump inevitable, it’s unlikely that whoever she is, won’t be given much of a chance.
