President Trump tweeted one of the most powerful 9/11 terrorist attack videos in response to Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar’s controversial remarks saying that on September 11, 2001, “some people did something” and that has caused Muslims to become victims of discrimination.
President Trump tweeted this video with one simple statement…
“WE WILL NEVER FORGET.”
And he’s right. America will NEVER forget.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called on the President to take down the video because it’s “disrespectful and dangerous.”
According to Pelosi’s issued statement, she directed the Sergeant-at-Arms to conduct a security assessment for Omar, her staff and family.
Before Pelosi made her statement, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was on ABC’s This Week on Sunday morning, defending Trump’s video saying Trump doesn’t wish ill will or violence against Omar.
Here’s what Sarah Sanders said:
Asked about President Trump's attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar, Sarah Sanders tells @GStephanopoulos, Omar's comments are "absolutely disgraceful and unbefitting of a member of Congress and I think that it's a good thing that the president is calling her out" https://t.co/a1tf3ubh7D pic.twitter.com/1Ixdb0cYN4

Pelosi said,
“The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.”
Pelosi took to Twitter and posted:
.@realDonaldTrump’s dangerous video must be taken down. I have spoken with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Rep. @Ilhan Omar, her family & her staff. They will continue to monitor & address the threats she faces. pic.twitter.com/Grb9c8S18d
