(UnitedVoice.com) – President Donald Trump has made it clear he’s not going to stop fighting to make sure election officials count every legitimate vote. His legal team just filed another lawsuit to ensure that happens.

On December 1, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit in the Wisconsin Supreme Court challenging around 220,000 ballots. An attorney for the president, Jim Troupis, said the partial recount in the state recently revealed the election process was abused and officials disregarded “the law on multiple occasions.”

Joe Biden’s team denies anything happened in the state and disparaged the commander-in-chief’s legal team, calling the lawsuit “baseless.”

The legal team doesn’t expect the lawsuit will change the outcome of the election, but it will impact the system for years to come. At the end of it, they hope to restore election integrity “beyond a victory for President Trump.”
