White House Makes Devastating Call for Internet Censorship
(UnitedVoice.com) – Earlier this week, the Facebook Oversight Board upheld the social media site’s ban on Former President Donald Trump. The company is supposed to revisit it within six months, but for now he still doesn’t have access to the account. When the White House was asked about the ban, the response left much to be desired.
On May 5, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki what the president thought about social media censorship and the Facebook ban on Trump. She responded saying that Biden thinks “there’s more that needs to be done” when it comes to social media censoring people the company thinks are spreading “misinformation.”

The press secretary’s comments are incredibly disturbing. She speaks for the president and he is supposed to stand up for the American people. Sure, these are private companies, but that doesn’t mean the POTUS can’t say that it’s wrong to silence conservative voices and ask the platforms to do better.
